Why is life complicated?

The truth is life should not be complicated. Have you ever wondered why it is

Have you ever thought, “Why you cannot figure things out?”

Have you ever said to yourself “I do not have an attitude problem, others have the problem?”

So why is life complicated?
I believe that living is simpler than you realize. To me, living has two important words. Listening and then acting. Why not listen to that inner voice inside your head that is constantly trying to get your attention.

How many times have you had a problem to deal with, and then had a thought that you just let pass by. Maybe you thought, no that is not the answer. Granted at the time it did not look like the right solution. Maybe it just did not have the right feeling, or some elements seemed to be missing. The fact is that no solution is clear when you first know it; there are always some facts that need hammering out.

This requires listening to that inner voice, however, most of the time you will go running off half-cocked with only half the information causing stress.

At the beginning, I said that it comes down to two words. Listening then acting. Acting is only half of what you need to do to bring success. The problem is you spend ninety percent of the time focused on the acting, and ten percent focused on the listening, if any at all.

Inherent in listening is an element of patience, and most of the time you find yourself not having patience to deal with the situation. Living at a fast pace makes it tough to live with patience. However, learning the art of listening will make patience seem tolerable. Here is why. Waiting on something you desperately need, makes you inpatient. You will keep having the feelings “you should be doing something. “Maybe you have heard the saying, “if it is to be, it’s up to me” Maybe so, however, not necessarily so.

The point I am trying to make is you are the one that makes your life complicated and difficult. Life is not about a series of disappointments. It just means you are just not using the tools you are given to live life efficiently.

The hardest problems I ever solved in my life were the ones that I just jump right on top of and showed who was boss. However, the easiest problems I ever solved in my life were the ones that I listen to; I am not trying to tell you that you need to spend hours listening to your inner voice to find the answers. Your inner voice does not allow you to run headlong into a brick wall and then you find you are chasing your tail in every direction.

Learn to listen to your inner voice it only takes a few minutes a day. Daily practice of quiet time and by listening to your inner voice will bring you great rewards. The more you do, the more you will be able to discern good information from the chatter in your mind. Your inner voice is the answer for every problem that life can throw at you.

There is one important rule, and that is to recognize that quiet time, and listen to your inner voice. Let me give you an example, Find a quiet place, sit in a comfortable chair, close your eyes, and blank everything in your mind. As you remain quiet, thoughts and ideas will come to you. Some will be noise; however, some will be worth listening to for more information. The longer you do it, the more efficient you become at listening.
