How to make a man commit to you is a big question that every woman at some point in her life has asked.

It is one of the most commonly ask questions and is a question I get asked a lot when I am teaching.

I will now explain what I mean by this. Suppose you have been seeing a man for 6 weeks or so and he tells you he does not want to be exclusive, he is possibility telling you he is not ready to commit. So now let’s go through some rules on how to make a man commit to you.

 

Never give your man an ultimatum!

 

A response woman often gives the man an ultimatum, in other words they will say that if he does not commit to her from now on, she is sorry but the relationship cannot go on any more, in other words the relationship is over.

 

Although this might be a decent request, it is in fact wrong.

 

If you give a man an ultimatum, he will run a mile every time. By asking him to make an all or nothing decision, you will only make him associate pain and stress with commitment. He will see it as having to place himself in a relationship and he will see it as losing his freedom.

 

Do not give him all the benefits that come with a relationship before he has committed to you. You should let the man earn a place in your life. However, a lot of women make the mistake of giving themselves body and soul to a man before he has expressed any intention to commit.

 

Not only does this apply sexually, but also to the time you give him. You will let him call you and come over whenever he wants to, you will break plans for him, come and look after him and doing his jobs around the house, the list keeps coming.

 

If your man gets all these things before he has committed to you he will think he does not need to commit because you are giving him all your attention and he can still be single. Get him to associate massive pleasure to commitment!

 

Another mistake is being cold towards him. This is also the wrong way of doing things. It will not make a men commit to you.

 

Although it is right that you might want to back off (or even date other men!), you must make sure that the time you do spend together is the best time he could possibly have. That way when you leave him, he will think “I want to spend more time with you because I had a good time when we were together”.

 

The way you make a man commit to you is up to you.

 

You always need the man to realize that every time he commits to you a little bit more, things become more fun, more romantic, more exciting and sexier. If you give him everything in one go there is nothing left for him to achieve by being in a relationship with you.

 

What you ideally want is for him to feel like the single life can never be as much fun as being in a relationship with you.

 

To make a man commit to you, the man needs to feel like he is missing out when you are not around.
